A Tip

Today Mom and I were making chocolate chip/peanut butter cookies, but we realized we had no regular chocolate chips. (Can you believe it?!) So we simply took a big Crunch bar and a Hershey bar and smashed them up. It was a lot like Chocolate chunks. You could use any chocolate bar you want. It worked really well.

Crunch or Twix bars would be good in cookies, don't you think?

Mmmm I agree Kiwifruit! Good idea! Candy bars like that would add some extra crunch and flavor, rather than plain chocolate. Thanks!

Do you have any tips for cutting up onions? Usually I'm just fine while doing so, but yesterday I was fine-chopping them for tacos and ended up crying like I had just broken my wrist!:-]
Thanks, Kiwifruit

Well, I don't really have any problems cutting onions. (Just chopping them in the food processor makes me cry.) But I like watching The Food Network and Alton Brown says cutting by an open flame, or cutting by running water can sometimes help. But I think you're best off if you use a sharp knife and try to keep your fingers off the center of the onion. Does that help at all?
